Packing & labeling
Packed, labeled, back in the right room.
Two ways to pay for packing: by the hour or one flat rate. Either way every box gets a room sticker and every piece of furniture gets wrapped.
Two ways to pack
By the hour, or flat rate.
Flip the switch. Prices are set at the walkthrough, after Luis has seen what’s actually there.
One price for the whole pack, agreed at the walkthrough.
Best for
- Whole-house packs
- Families who want one number up front
- Long-distance moves
How it works
- Luis walks every room first
- Price fixed before packing day
- No watching the clock
Both include room labels on every box. Boxes you pack yourself (PBO) are moved with the same care, but you label those.
Important part
Every box gets a sticker.
The room it came from goes on every box and every wrapped piece: Family, Master, Office. At the new house each room is marked the same way, so everything goes back to its place.
- 01
Packed
Box packed and taped in the room it belongs to.
- 02
Stickered
Room sticker goes on before it leaves the room.
- 03
Placed
At the new house it goes to the room with the matching mark.
PBO · packed by owner
Packing some of it yourself?
That’s fine. Boxes you pack get moved with the same care. We don’t label PBO boxes, so write the room on each one (big, on two sides) and it’ll land in the right place.
Mixing is common: you pack the books and the closets, we pack the kitchen, the glass and the furniture by the hour.

What it gets wrapped in
The materials.

Moving blankets
Quilted pads around every piece of furniture.

Stretch wrap
Over the blankets, so the pads stay put and drawers stay shut.

Mirror boxes
Mirrors and framed glass ride in their own boxes, strapped.

Mattress bags
Sealed so the mattress arrives clean.
How do the room labels work?
Every box and every wrapped piece gets a room sticker: Family, Master, Office and so on. When we get to the new house we mark each room first, so everything goes back to the same place.
What does PBO mean?
Packed by owner. Those are boxes you pack yourself. We move them with the same care, but we don't label them, so write the room on them and they'll land in the right place.
Hourly or flat-rate packing: which one?
By the hour suits a partial pack, like the kitchen and the china. Flat rate suits a whole-house pack: one price agreed at the walkthrough, whatever the clock says.
